Wheel prep?...
Is there anything I need to do to the wheel after taking it off the bike in order for them to mount the DS tire?
I know about the KY Jelly for the tire....and if this is a stupid question, please bare with me...lol. I'll learn

Wash the rim with a hose and a rag to get all the old mounting soap off the rim from previous mountings because the rubber on the CT is so soft compared to the MC tire that it hangs on anything sticky! Next thing is to NOT just do the once around the tire mounting swipe with your mounting soap. Do the rim and the bead by slopping it on even up to the lettering. You will understand when you seat the bead.
************** DO NOT HOLD THE AIR CHUCK ON THE TIRE TO DO THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! USE A LOCKING CHUCK AND STAND AWAY FROM THE TIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ONCE THE TIRE SEATS THE BEAD, POP THE QUICK RELEASE AND LET THE AIR OUT BEFORE REMOVING THE CHUCK.
