New to Darkside

Hello

I moved to the Darkside yesterday. 2011 HD Ultra Classic and a Dunlop SP5000 195/60/16 tire at 34psi. 25 miles on it so far and loving it.

CONGRATULATIONS..........Get some miles to get acquainted to the new feel of handling.....play with the tire pressure to find your sweet spot for your style or ridding....THEN GO AND TRY AND WEAR THAT PIECE OF RUBBER OUT......hehehehehe.... .....ESKIMO

I started at 30psi and it felt "different". I upped it to 34 and I can almost not even tell the difference between a MT and this tire. I am excited.

I am still leery in the curves, however...I guess because of all the naysayers out there and the scare tactics. Slow and careful until I am confortable fully with it. The wifde will not be on the bike with me until I am fully confident.

Congrats and welcome. Enjoy the smooth and better ride. Get rid of the molding before scratching pipe and boards.

I was the same in the curves as you at 1st, now I don't even think about it anymore. Unless it's raining, then I think of how much better it is.
