How wide can I go ?

Thinking of doing the Foots mod on my new bike.
Wanna leave this bike more stock, so no cutting fenders and going hard tail.
Running the 225 on my other bike, but without fender.
What's the max. size under the 1300 fender on the 1800 rim?

Robert a 205 fits easily, I believe you will have to do some drive shaft dimpling surgery to get a 215 to fit.

Wes, thx. for your reply. I know all about the space regarding the shaft drive.
By the way, I'm running a 225 without doing a mod to the drive.
What I don't know is the available space with a CT regarding to the fender.
If a 205/65 or 205/60 is the widest then there is no need to do the foots mod.
