I am looking for soemone in the Giddings, Tx area that would mount a car tire on my rim.... I am getting a 205/70R15 this week (haven't figured out which brand yet) my current tire is about to the end of it's life.. Thanks

not real sure where giddings tx is but here is what i did. I called a bunch of local cycle shops and asked if they would do it. most said nope then i aksed if they knew somone who might do it. after a few tries ui got and answer called that person and he said sure bring it by.

Discount tire did mine here in Katy. Helps to buy the tire there.

thanks everyone... I found a small shop in Industry that is going to mount it for me.... I bought the tire at discount tire in brenham, they said they couldn't do it because of some goofy thing about MC shops not liking it if they were to mount mc tires......

OK..... So, finally got the tire mounted on the wheel..... The little bike shop didn't have the right tools and was a bit afraid to put enough air in the tire to help it seat... Thanks to Wilderness Kawasaki in Sealy, they had it done in less than 10 minutes, and didn't charge me for the tiem it took.... Got the tire balanced and should have the wheel back on the bike later today..... Just in time to ride it down to Smithville for Thunder on the Colorado!.....
