Darkside Done and First Time Ride

It's finally installed! I went Darkside and exchanged the spoked rims for C rims. Took it off the lift today and went for a ride, it was 50 degrees this afternoon.
Damn that felt good. Not just getting out for a ride, but the feel of that tire.
Is it just me or is the bike more responsive on acceleration with the car tire?
It's probably a good thing that this was a winter project. I always feel like there's an adjustment period when I haven't been on the bike for a while. I only felt like I had to lean a little hard on one tight turn. Other than that, I think once I get into the thick of riding season, I'll be very used to any riding differences.
