Totalled bike Empty Totalled bike

Post  2wheeladdict Thu Jul 30, 2009 1:09 pm

Hey everyone. Just got word today that my bike has been totalled by the ins. company. Now I get to wait for a check and start shopping for a new bike. I sure hope I can find one that I really like before winter gets here. Really looking into getting a vtx 1800c, I really like the c model bikes. I'll keep you all posted on my progress. Peace all.

+1 on bike shopping. Look around there are a lot of bikes on the market. Some sweet rides for sale on the other board too. IThe C's are cool, but the F's are faster. Ha ha ha.

You might still find a few at dealers. Prolly more F's, a C model hasn't been built in a couple years. Good luck on your search.

I like my "1800 "C" but, ...I really like those bigo back fenders on the "F", or whatever that is with the fenders that go clear down to the ground like the Rune. Plus, with a"C", for me anyway, It's hard to find bags that look right (that is if you were planning to add bags later on.

There are a bunch of good deals at the Honda Stores right now. You might even get a super deal on an extreamly accesorized '08 with no miles on it for WAY less money. And ALL established dealers sell on e-bay with out-the- door prices.

To much info? ...Sorry, ...I get that way sometimes. Rolling Eyes

it's the N model with the long fender like you see below... Wink the F model like the C but with even less rear fender...

all 1800's quit being made in 08, but you can still get a C model 1300! Laughing
lots to chose from and lots to shop around for... seen bunches of good deals on 1800's on the OA and the cafe...and some on ebay!

Take your time and look around..... I found a 2007 Kawasaki 2000 brand new at a dealer for under $10,000. Fits my fanny good.
