The Ride To Cheaha Mountain....

If interested show-up in Knoxville , Tennessee this thursday evening May , 1st. We have a few out-of-towner's that are staying at the Motel 6 on Lovell Rd. ( see link ) . Thursday evening we plan ride out to a steak house for supper and then ride to the local bike night to check out the bikes and live rock n roll band. Friday morning we'll hook up at Shoney's for breakfast its across the street from the Motel 6 on Lovell Rd. be there at 7:30 a.m. (est) for breakfast then its a super slab ride down I-75 to Atlanta,Georgia where we'll hook up with 5 or 6 more bikes from there its backroads to the highest point in Alabama ...Cheaha Mountain the picture is looking north from the top of Cheaha...Bring It...LET'S RIDE

Be at exit 269 at 12:00 noon (est) We plan to have some lunch then do backroads to the top of Cheaha Mountain.
...We'll be there friday - saturday and sunday.Look's like around 15 bikes will be ridin' in with me.

It's been arranged for us to get the bikes out on the Talladega Superspeedway saturday. I've been on Bristol three times with 2 of my bikes. I'm really lookin' forward to this.

29 dreams is just down the road....This is a awesome piece of asphalt for the art of motorcycling.

Barber is also close by at any given time over 900 motorcycles can be seen here. We may luck out and see some bikes on the track as well.

I've stayed at 29 Dreams and been to the museum. It is well worth the trip on both accounts. We would love to get away for a week, but just don't have anyone to take care of Greg's Dad. As a matter of fact, riding to 29 Dreams on the Shadow 750 was my first experience with some twisties. I had great fun on that trip.
