Cheaha Mountain / Talladega Superspeedway Ride
Just got in from a 750 mile weekend ride to the highest point in Alabama , Cheaha Mountain. What a outstanding weekend we had a blast. We got to take 3 laps on The Talladega Superspeedway saturday evening . A few of us laided back alittle behind the pace car and the fastest I saw on my bike was 120 mph down the back stretch banking. You talk about a adrenaline RUSH that was awesome Took a bunch of photo's heres a couple I'll post a few more later .

Awsome, how did you get to ride on the track?? I've always wanted to do that, but so far the closest I've come is being bored out of my skull watching a race there.

The Alabama State Rep for the VRCC knew somebody that knew somebody that knew somebody and they let us do 3 laps. We did sign a piece of paper before the ride but it was pretty much let'em eat just don't pass so we just laided back and had a blast in the turns. I hit turn 4 at 110 mph and I was up in the tail-pipes of the bike in front of me <---one of ridin' buds and had other ridin' buddy ( Detn8er ) up in my tail-pipes it was to say the least a RUSH

More great pics.....almost got to ride around Daytona once....They let the first 100 people who sign up for the childrens hospital poker run do it every year....There were 5,000 bikes signed up the last year I lived there.

I've had my Suzuki Bandit 1200 and my ( Goldwing<----Sold it ) on Bristol Speedway . In fact it's almost time to go do that again. I'll be taking my Fat Lady the Valk with the DarkSide this time. By the way the car tire was awesome on the banks at Talladega.

Wow....Talledega, going thru the high banks at turn 4 at 110! That would have just been the best thing!
My uncle on his Valk gave it a run too! I think you guys would have been riding it the same day! His name is Dennis from Baton Rouge! Blue Valk, with white stripes and six shooters on it. I painted his bags for him to match his bike.
