How to tell which wheel is on my bike?
I'm going to trike my 2002 VTX1800(R) with an outrigger kit and want to go darkside with the rear tire first. I put parens around the "R" above, because although the bike started out as an R model, I'm not sure the wheel on the bike is from the original bike.
The previous owner did a number of things to the bike as part of a bobbing process. The result is that the current tire on the bike is 7.5" wide. It is a Dunlop D251 200/60R16 M/C 79V. That tire does not show up in my Clymers. Is this wheel a typical 2002 VTX1800R wheel?
I figure I can go through the forum and figure out which brand of tire to buy, but I wasn't sure how to tell which wheel I had. I looked in the service manual and see that VTX1800 different models had different rear wheels.

A picture of your rim might help us identify it for you.
