I heard somewhere about some kind of ball that you put inside the tire when you mount it and it automatically balances the tire for you. Have you heard anything about this or know of anyone who has tried it?

Are the dynabeads only for the S models or also for R&C models?

Yes they work on any tire. They do recommend different weights for different tires.

Twin, who said I run in the triple digits? Couldn't be all the leo's in the 2 counties I run regular. I swear they have my shift schedule posted in their cars. That's okay too cause there are only so many places they can sit and hide Laughing Laughing It has really turned into a game for me too. Laughing It's the rolling ones that keep getting me though Embarassed

I am running the rear tire with 3 oz of Counteract Balancing Beads.

http://www.priertiresupply.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=240

3oz should be overkill but the chart shows 3oz if the tire was on a car.

I am way too cheap to buy the expensive stuff, so I got a cheap bag for a big rig, cut it open and measured what I needed. To make is worse I am too cheap to buy an installation kit, so I took the core out of the valve stem and used a small freezer bag to put the bead into, cut the tip off a corner and poured the bead into the tire through the valve stem using the freezer bag. It took a little careful shaking, but worked.

Never noticed any vibration at any speed.

I still have enough left over to do a few more tires and have spent less than 1 tire with the expensive beads or paying for the tire to be balanced.

That's a personal preferance thing Muntz. If you like the cheap stick on weights most places use then no don't get the beads. If Very Happy you like a clean looking wheel and a well balanced tire then the beads are for you.
Now going back and reading that I would have to say I think I said ..... I highly recommend the dynabeads Very Happy

I'm going to use 3 oz. in my rear tire.
