Gonna ride

. Had surgery on my knee Thursday. I took the dressing off last night and it looks great. The weather is right and the darkside has less than 10 miles on it. Today is the day. I'm taking it out for the day. I'm so excited. Just could keep it to myself.

Ok folks, the little ride I got, about 70-75 miles was great. Looked like it was going to rain, and though I love riding in the rain, the Mister isn't fond of it. But, I got to ride half the distance on the darkside on my bike and the other half on the wideside on his. I love them both, but I think I like the 165 better than the 205. It seemed to like the curves better. Winds are 20 mph and they both seemed to do real well with that. I wanted to see what they'd do in the rain, but I guess I'll have to venture that one on my own when the knee heals up a little. Guess I'm not real comfortable about going out by myself just in case something happens. I have picked my bike up by myself before, but it sure couldn't happen right now. . Anyways, the tires are great and when we have some sunshine, I'll post side by side pictures. :queen:

Well you're hearing it. So far I likes. I won't ride today (maybe) as it's 100% chance of rain. And, like i said, I love rain riding, but I'm not sure I trust the knee to get out on my own. I can't imagine calling hubby and telling him I've fallen and can't get up. He'd never let me live that one down.

I was sold when I started hearing what kind of miles I could expect to get on the darkside. I love to spend money. Just don't want to spend it all on tires.
