Darkside Newbie
While trying to decide which new tire to get to replace my bald metzler rear tire I ran across a thread on another board by someone who had just put a michelin hydroedge on his 05 1300S which is the same bike I have. Had read some time ago about putting CT on a bike but hadn't really thought much about it lately. So after a bit more reading I figured I'd give it a try so I went out and got the same tire (MH 205/170 15) got a shop to mount it for me ($40) rather than hassle with it myself and the rest is history, took her for a short spin after I finished today. I did have to reassure my wife that plenty of other people have done it and lived to tell about it.
My gps speed is now closer to the bike so thats nice.
A side note, while taking off my tire I realized it was almost flat (less than 10 psi) and I hadn't even noticed it, explains why bike was riding a little different. Note to self: check tire pressure more often.

Re: Darkside Newbie
Congrats sir and once the mold release is worn off after a couple hundred miles. Remember...air pressure makes all the difference in the world to how it handles. Any issues, just let us know?

Congrats and welcome !
Only 10 psi ? I would not have dared to write that down.
You must have thought you were drunk the whole time.
Enjoy the better and safer rides.
Robert.
