The Ride To The Sea
The ride did'nt get started as planned however the repair on Paul's bike only set us back alittle over a hour ( no power to headlight ) . We rolled through The Dragon-The Hellbender and The Moonshiner on into The Highlands of North Carolina before crossing into South Carolina. In Seneca , SC we hooked up with Mike ( hubcap ) and it was all backroads to Greenwood for the first over-night...This could be a first that I've rode with four Valkyrie's and none of them was black.
The ride to Tybee Island was going great with beautiful weather and nice country backroads until we got close to Savannah when the road we was on was closed...After turning around the next road we used was'nt much better with traffic hell from the other road being shut-down.We rolled into Tybee Island right at dark thirty....Here's a picture of home sweet home the next two day....A very nice condo we rented right on the ocean.
This next shot took from the balcony where we stayed.
From the beach looking back we was on the 3rd floor.
A few pictures from our saturday ride.
On the way back to Tybee Island we stopped at Fort Pulaski National Monument...This is a very cool place and a must see if in the area.
We had outstanding weather the entire ride even killing bugs with the windshield every day...On the way home Paul and I hit rain as we was coming into the I-40 Pigeon River Gorge at the Tennessee / North Carolina stateline....We also both got a speeding ticket that could forever change my way of life come feb.4 2011 when I'm due in court as I make my living with my driver's license ....This last event pretty much put a sour note on what up until then was a awesome ride....I've got a couple " Money Shot's " that I liked from the long Veterans Day weekend. The first one is BADMOJO at Fort Pulaski National Monument....The second picture taken from the living room of the condo we rented on sunday morning.

Great pics. Looks like it was an almost perfect ride. Can you keep the ticket off your record if you take classes?
