Drive tube, indenting it Empty Drive tube, indenting it

Ok I have a small rubbing issue with my 205 and the drive tube...its just enough to makes some rubber dust..anybody got a clean simple way to indent the tube..I have my own ideas but it involves a ball peen hammer...many thanks...

Phil, the ones that have done this use a block of wood 2X4 about 2 feet long lay the end on the tube coming in from the other side of the bike in the area you want to indent and smack the hell out the other end of the board. This will indent the tube but not screw up the paint.

I'd put some innertube rubber on the end to be sure if it were me, but I'm just anal that way.

many thanks for the replies, I did a search and feel better that Im not the only one with the issue..next time I take the tire off I will get my hammer.... Twisted Evil
