1300R tire question
ok the rear tire on the 1300 R model is 170/80 R15 and the Car tire is a 207/70R15. ro the Rims are both 15 inches tall. car tire is wider andnot quite as much sidewall. And from what I understand I may have to rurn some backets around. Ok I can do that.
And I know that the choice of tire is a personal thing. I am looking very hard a 3 differant tires.
Listed in order of preferance, alough its a dead heat between the Goodyear and the Mich.
The Mich hydroedge which alot of people have.
Goodyear Assurance ComforTred which i do not know if anyone has or not.
Firestone Precision Touring brand new on the sceen in this size
General Altimax RT also new on the scean.
So any and all advice is welcome I will be buying one this week.

Re: 1300R tire question
The only thing I had to turn around on my R were the exhaust mounting bolts.
I do not have any experience with any of those tires, but the Mich is a proven winner on the 1300R.
As twin would say " Don't forget your 3 oz's of dynabeads or soft pellets, which ever you prefer for balancing."
I saw on the OA you were asking about front tires. I will recomend going with the Avon Roadrider rear tire 150/70/17. It can be mounted on the front with the tire in the arrow rotation. It is about 6/10" shorter than stock, wich will lower your front end by just over 1/4". Not much at all. Its my new front tire of choice.
