Cold Weather Gloves
Hey guys,
I'm in DFW, Texas and ride my bike to work everyday (approx 20 miles). I bundle up pretty well for the cold ride into work, with the exception of my hands. The gloves I have just don't cut it. By the time I get to work, my fingers feel like they've had ice picks shoved into them repeatedly. Can anyone suggest a good pair of cold-weather gloves? The cheaper($$$, not quality) the better.
Thanks,

Re: Cold Weather Gloves
Just some latex gloves under your leather gloves will help considerably on a 20 minute ride in Dallas. Maurice has tried this and can vouch for me.
I have a pair of "aluminum impregnated" glove liners. These I bought at a ski shop or REI - both have them. These work great, but I do have a pair of thicker leather gloves for the winter.

Re: Cold Weather Gloves
I just juse the laytex gloves and it works really well. As long as the cold season we have here and the amount of riding I do, I cant justify the cost of another pair of gloves. The laytex works really well. I was suprised.

Re: Cold Weather Gloves
I use a $12 pair of snowmobile gloves for cold weather riding. Of course snowmobile gloves may be to a wee bit hard to find in texas. I found mine at an area farm supply store.

Temps was in the lower 20's last friday when I took these picture's . I rode 225 miles that day and within 50 from home I had to turn down the Gerbing jacket liner and gloves. I've said it many times here buying the Gerbings is the best money you can spend to ride in comfort year around.
