The Hellbender 28 is Hwy.28 it starts at Deals Gap and runs to Hwy.19 /74...They have t-shirts , patches,stickers etc. The Hellbender store is about 2 miles from Fontana Dam.It's a great road and it also has killed more bikers than The Dragon so has Cherohala Skyline . The Dragon gets a bad rap folks get killed anywhere within 25 miles of it and " The Dragon " gets the blame

Should'nt matter if you live across the street the party will be at Ground Zero. Hope you re-think that and join us at the motel the night tire kickin' and lie tellin' is where you get to know folks.

It's in several ways a long shot for me, but I will let you guys know in time if it
will be possible for me.

We will forgive ya for not renting a darkside bike No cutoff for signing up for the ride. It will all be about availability of the rooms. There are a couple other motels in the area but this is the best suited for our late night antics Miss Reba is good people and tolerates the bike scene real well.

I started a new job and have already put in for vacation for Jul for Coloradical. I'll have to check and see if I could possible take off 2 times in that short a period. I sorta doubt it though.

We're going up Oct 31 for Kawloween. It's an annual VROC ride. The Cherohala and the Dragon loop starting in Tellico Plains. We'll be staying at The Riverlet Sat & Sun night. So if anyone wants to come up and ride the invitation is open.

Okay,

I don't read the list but about once a week so this is the first I'm seeing this. HOWEVER, I have been talking about making it to the Dragon for a year and am already in the planning stages of heading over there "NEXT YEAR." So.......this will definitely be on the calendar and hopefully it will work out. Again, the time allowed to plan is a huge help. If I can work it out, I will not come alone, but hopefully will bring anywhere from 4-10 other bikers with me (all depending on who can get off work when). By the first of the year I want to have a firm date so this will absolutely be on the slate to consider.

On a side note: if the 'GROUP' cannot make this date, I still may be able to make it - again, I have the dates down. Thanks so much for the invite. :cyclops:

You have all winter to make your ass Happy Lots of time to find and mount a new seat .... with drivers backrest and some cruising pegs to stretch out on. Make all the dfference in the world..

i allready have hwy pegs,and there is no aftermarket seat for my bike but when it stays below 45 degrees here,its downtime and mod time lol.i'm thinkin bout puttin a gel pad on when i have the seat recovered.cheers !

If you decide to put a gel pad in the seat, make sure you sandwich it between some foam before recovering it. If not, the gel will get hot in the sun. Axe me how I know!!!!!!!!!! And, oh, 45 degrees , man , thats a heat wave up here in the mountains!!!!!! No rest for the bike here!!!! Take care and be safe. Semper-fi Mike

if y'all don't mind at least one Triumph Rocket 3 I'd like to do the Dragon again.
Only 1000 miles for me, well 998 actually to the motel I stayed in last time.
