What do most people run for a front tire. I will have a 1300C rim on the bike

How hard is it to mount the CT. If I pick up a couple of tire irons could I take car of it myself. I plan on using dynabeads to balance

I think most with the S or R run metzlers ME880..... Front tire is easier to mount than the rear.

Just thought of another question What is the deal with speed ratings and is it important. I know a few guys up here in NH and they have put on speed rated tires (z/v???) I have heard it has something to do with sidewall strength and wanted to know if it makes a big difference. I am trying to decide which tire to put on the back. I will take any suggestions.

Dont know about side wall strength. But I dont plan on going over 118 so an H rated tire is enough for me. I think the Z rated is a softer compond and might offer a little better traction. but dont quote me on that.

h is good through 130, it is the speed the tire will handle without flying apart...can't remember z and v...but tire rack.com has all that info out there if you want to know the details on each
