A couple thoughts
Hope everyone is having a good summer ride. I just wated to post 2 suggestions to everyone. First one is... become a member of ABATE. http://www.abate.com/ Thats the Ohio website, should be links to any state that has an active ABATE chapter. It keeps you informed of laws and legislation and the non-riding people who want to change the way we spend our spare time and our lifestyle. Its 25 bucks a year to become a member usually. Its well worth it just for the information. And by the way...the parties are usually pretty good too.
Second thing is... everyone got a ride bell or a gaurdian bell ?? And if you dont know what a ride bell is, go look it up. A little extra good mojo is never a bad idea.
Peace...ride safe.

Re: A couple thoughts
I would'nt ride to the end of my driveway without a guardian bell.Legend has it that Evil Road Spirits have been latching themselves on to motorcycles for as long as there have been bikes on the road. These Evil Road Spirits are responsible for mechanical problems and bad luck along a journey.
Legend goes on to say that by attaching a small bell onto your bike, the Evil Road Spirits will become trapped inside the bell where the constant ringing drives them insane, making them lose their grip until they fall to the ground. (Ever wonder where potholes come from?)
Legend also has it that the mystery of the Guardian Bell carries twice as much power when it is purchased by a friend or loved one and given as a gift.

Re: A couple thoughts
Gentlemen, I thought long and hard about this post and reason why we ride and should I post something. This is not to start an argument, a controversy here, or a heated religious battle.
But, I don't do bells........ I ride on the good graces of the Living God! It's how I roll........
But I do like what ABATE stands for!

I felt the same way and someone found me one that has Jesus Saves on it and a pic of The big J on the other side. I will try to remember to find another and hook a brother up.

Bell by Kara & Travis
Ya I was Belled by my daughter and her husband ,But I also ride with the spirit of Jesus my Saviour as God is the driving force in my life ,my bell says never ride faster than my guardian angel can fly ,all of our bikes are belled by a loved one and blessed by
Jesus as he rides through life with us each day Amen .

Re: A couple thoughts
+1 on what Twin said.
I also have a bell on my bike as it was a gift from my husband. And, one of my Sisters put a bell on my vest because I'm sick so often. Both are Angels and serve to remind me that I am loved and cared for.
