axle not linning up very good
went to put my grabber on the 1300 c sunday and had trouble getting the axle to line up correctly on the right side hole. tried to move tire some but was by myself and ended up just driveing it thru. it dinged up the first thread a little but figured the nut would still go on. wrong. striped the nut and ended up ordering a new axle and nut. has this happened to anyone else? found out this bike had been down when i bought it, but the axle didnot appear to be damaged. any ideas? waiting for the axled to come in and i want to try out the ct. thanks for any imput.oh yea , add me to the darkside.

Did you grease the axle before you tried to re-install it? It should NOT have to be driven thru...maybe a little tap from a wrench, but no hammer! I always grease mine for easy removal and to cut down on rust!
Congrats on the darkside!

Wow...I don't know now! That's something on the bike and not a tire issue! I haven't got a clue . Haven't heard of this ever before!

Haha, that sounded like talking to tech support Bobby! LOL
But yes I agree, if you got the rear wheel assembly pushed onto the splines and such, it pretty much should slide in with no issues. Mine did.
axle
well to fix the situation i loosened the 4 bolts on the drive shaft housing and was able to torque the wheel to get good alingment and put the axle in. tightened everything up and all is good. thanks for the suggestion. never had this happen before.
