Simple question to 1800 or 1800 C riders ?
I've got an 03 1800 C.
I'm going to get the 205 16 size, but what has been your experience with the various sizes 65/60/55 ???
With regard to maintaining speedo accuracy and having to grind fender frames, etc
Please weigh in on what y'all are running and any suggestions...
Thanks.

Most are running the 205/60/16 or 205/65/16.
I'm running a full foots mod...1800c wheel, brake rotor/caliper on my 1300C...all the same fender/swingarm etc back there.
205/65/16 HydraEdge. Speedo's close. I'll give the 60 series a try next time. No grinding with my 65 though.

I'm running the GY TT 205/60R/16 and love it. The wife rides alot with me and I noticed that when I hit some bumps it does rub slightly, so this spring I am going to take the back fender off and grind down the tabs underneath. As far as the speedo is concerned, as far as I have been able to tell, I am only off by maybe 1 mph. The ride is great, handles great and is a much smoother ride.

Toasted & Dark Phantom - thanks for info - anyone else please weight in !
Hey guys -
Thanks a bunch...
I'll do some checking on the diff between the 65 and the 60 ...diff in width, height, whatever...
I do like the part about no rubbing the fender frames with the 65... i'll probably have them grinded down when I have the wheel off just to be sure though...
Sounds like the affect on the speedometer is nothing big either way with the 65 or 60...
Thanks again... coming to the darkside soon !
Anyone else with a 1800 C, any info you can add, please do so...Thanks.

if you're thinking about getting a 1300 final drive, go with a 55. I like the 55 in general, but with the 1300 final, the speedo is really trued up.

Rumor has it that the 55 will keep your speedo exact, but speedos have some error from the factory anyway. I have a 205/60/16 and like the ride on my 1800C.
