Car tires on MC'

I have a 2002 750 ACE and Im looking to put a regular car tire on it, I have spoke rims. I read one post where a rider was told to put a 165/80/15. I tried to look the tire up on discount tires and sears tire and the only 165 they can come up with is a 165/80/13. I also read a article on the shadow discussion forum about putting a 205/65/R15.....Can any one help me please

One the 750 and installing your car tire with a tube...the 165/80/15 is the best for you and your bike! I can't tell you the the 205 will fit! It will require you doing some good measuring to be sure! Secondly, you might have to pick up a "HOT VW" magazine or something like that. They carry the 165/80/15 for the VW's because it originally a VW tire! That would be the best place to start!

You can seal the rims and go tubeless if you would like to try that...some of our guys have done it with 100% success for just about $20 dollars and a weekend!

+1 on Twins advice......Trying to seat something wider than a 165 with a tube is a nightmare.
You can do a search here under sealing and find the threads about sealing your rim.
