Concours 1000 rear wheel with Austone tire
Stock late model C10 wheel in excellent shape, with Austone 175/78%16 tire.
Tire has about 2000 miles on it, but I have sold the C10 and the new buyer didn't want the darkside setup.
100% ready to go, and handles better than the stock Dunlop K700/K701 setup. Much better,
$150 plus shipping from 92378 in SoCal.
Free mounting advice:
0) Get the bike up on the centerstand, with the stand on a piece of 2x10. You are going to need the elevation.
00) Drain the rear drive oil. You need to do that anyway.
1) Disconnect the rear shock linkage at the lowest point. One bolt, very easy, and you need to grease that up anyway.
2) Remove your old wheel. Since you pulled the shock linkage, NO NEED to remove the left muffler. See how easy this is?
3) Pull the rear drive unit (RDU). Four acorn nuts and it is off. DO NOT LOSE the spring and stuff inside. Or the washers.
4) Clean and grease up the splines on the rear wheel and RDU. Assemble these two with the rear axle. Really.
5) Install the RDU with the rear wheel attached. Check for leftover parts. MUCH EASIER this way!
6) Fill RDU with oil.
7) Clean, grease, attach rear shock linkage.
Now somebody buy this wheel, ok?
