18 inch rear wheel on an N

Hi all,

I recently bought an 18 by 5.5 rear wheel, and need to know what wheel/tire combo will work under my N fender. Not ready to go back to a m/t yet. I've been told that a 215/45/18 will work. Can anyone here confirm that?

yup, that size on a stock width rim does work with some brands of tire, it just has to be able to clear the swingarm when mounted. Some tires can be a little narrower or wider because of the rim width and I don't recall the stock width to compare to yours off the top of my head. Just has to be 8.3" wide or less once mounted.

That's the size of my "F".... I have a Kumho 215/45/18 on now. I don't think you would have a problem other that having to raise the rear up so high to clear your fender. I had to let the air back out to help clear the swing arm while trying to line up the axle. You might need a second hand.
