Thinking of going to the darkside

I just joined, so forgive me please. I am a member of the VTXOA boards and they turned me onto this site. I'd like to get some more information on what type of tires i can get for the bike and if any old MC shop will mount it. I have a 2003 VTX 1800C and I am done changing by rear tire out every 6-8K miles. I figures id look into the CT on the bike. Ive seen it and they look interesting. I havent rode on a bike with one yet but i hear it takes a little getting use to. If any one could point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it!

I switched and am sooo happy. 2005 VTX 1800N and I have a Dunlop winter sport Run Flat and has 9,000 miles on it and looks like new. Rides great and helped last week when we had to cross small snow patches. He He they were slippin and I was gettin. I had a blow out that caused us to go down with 5K miles on the stock tire. Never again with this baby. This baby will get 50,000 mi. Paul
