07 Electric Glide

Need help find out what tire is the best for my 07 Electric Glide. Had a VTXR 1300 Honda and was running a 205/70/15 on it and loved the ride and handling. And I will need a new tire soon and want to go Darkside again. Thanks Mike in the Texas Hill Country

You will find the HD's run narrower tires on most models and have clearance and odd rim sizes that limit the tires to only a few sizes and it really sucks! Good luck with your quest sir! If you do find something......PLEASE PASS IT ON HERE so others can use it.

the 500r 16 steel radial that coker sells DOES fit a 07, i now have 7500 miles on mine and it still has more than half the tread left

Finally! A good Coker report. I saw the one that a guy on a Sporty wore out in 4k and wondered about these things. It looks like a truck tire in the pic; how
does it handle? Hate the price, but with problems from the Austone, at least I have one more choice left.

i suspect that the tire might wear badly on a two wheeler - it has a very flat tread pattern, its supposed to look like a bias tire.

im running it with a sidecar, no lean

the other note is that coker sells a steel radial 500r16 AND a bias 500/16 - there is always a air of confusion, i am using the steel radial

Still I guess I'd better do some searching on it again - it's been a while since they first were discussed.

I just put a Coker 550R16 on my Electraglide. Finished it about 2 hours ago and will try it out tomorrow. The tire has the same dem. as the 130/90 16 with the exc. of height. The Coker is 1 inch taller.
