8000 mi on rear tire

I now have about 8000 mi on my rear tire, must be time to replace it, OH WAIT I have a GYTT on the rear and I cant even tell that its worn at all! I wpold have been running on cords by now if I had stayed w/ the Metzler but with the Goodyear Triple Tread its still nearly new looking and I am more comfortable on it every day. My friends all look at me like I'm nuts until they follow me for a while then they start asking questions. I have made a few belivers out of them and a few converts.

Yes, I have made a few converts myself. After they follow me in the twisties and just watch the tire perform I get lots of questions and soon how do i find a car tire for my bike questions. I have a good friend I ride with that has a used VTX 1800 he just got and he got his GYTT today along with his dyna beads so he is ready to go!
