New here, not to riding

Just joined this forum, after having been on the OA for a few years. I put my first DS on in August 2007, a Kumho 165R15 on my S. 22,000 miles later, it won't pass inspection. Sure beats the 4000 I got out of my last MC tire! I can't find this tire anywhere, so I just ordered a Hydroedge 205/70R15. After the PITA that was getting that Kumho mounted with a tube, I also have a shiny new R-model cast rim on the way.

Just got mine installed last night. Haven't been out for the initial run, maybe tomorrow. Got 35 psi in it for now, we'll see how the handling is after it's got some miles on it. Can't wait!

I loved the way that Kumho handled. From what I read, this HE will handle as good, probably better. For what it cost, I hope to get a bit more than 22K out of it, but even at 22K, it's better than a MT
