For Sale: General Grabber 205/70R15 Brand New
I have a brand new General Grabber UHP 205/70R15 tire mounted once but the bead would not seat, not pressurized over 50 psi. Make a reasonable offer, purchased for less that $72 delivered.

You will have to take just about every tire above 50 psi to seat it. That tire should seat below 90. how far below I'm not sure. If you are using a cast rim it shouldn't be a problem, but I would put it in a cage to be safe. Make sure the rim is clean and lube it up good. Trust me its worth the effort.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still going to attempt the Darkside but with a different tire, either the GYTT or the Mich HydroEdge. The GYTT I know should seat below 50 or 60 psi. I'm a little gun shy after the first tire exploded at 60-65 psi, that is not a good feeling, especially as close as I was. If I can't sell it I will find a use for it.

You can always take it to a mounting store and ask tem to seat it.
A tire should not explode at 50 lbs. Had to be a bad tire.

When we mounted my Grabber for my C, it seated at about 75 psi. We used fork oil to lube the bead.
