Just a thought, but to be consistent with the other bike mfg forums, we might want to change this to just "Triumph". Which would include all Triumph motorcycles.

We have a lot of Honda 1800, 1300, and shadow owners on the forum. I'd keep those. But Suz, Kaw, Yam, and now Triumph probably ought to just be by mfg.

Just my 2 centavos.

Naw,
Leave it Rocket.
We're the only Triumphs that run on the dark side, so thats good enough.
If we wanted to be like everybody else,
we'd have bought hondas or harleys.

SWEET touring model.
Like the old number plate on your front fender.
I've got a couple of Rockets sitting here in the shed.
I'm always doing something to "mine" the Black on Black fast one.
The wife won't let me around hers much.
She's running a Riken Raptor too.
Here, I'll post a couple of pics of ours.

Rename this forum? Empty Speedmaster Darkside

Post  donatalie Sun Sep 19, 2010 5:33 pm

A few months ago I was shopping for a sidecar rig for riding with my kids. One of the hack setups I found was at a dealer near Pittsburgh, PA. It was a black and yellow (of course), 2005 Triumph Speedmaster, with a Velorex 700 sidecar on it. It also had a car tire on the back of the bike. I didn't know much about the "Darkside" at the time, (not that I'm an expert now, either) so I did not look into it any further. The bike itself was a little smaller than what I was looking for so I did not buy it. It definitely had a car tire on the back though. Don
