JUST BOUGHT MY DARKSIDE TIRE
Bought my Bridgestone 20/60/16 last night at Sam's. It cost me 79.85 and with tax 85.24. I hope to have it on and ready to ride by the weekend. I have a Intuder S83 with a DS tire. Love it and could not wait to try my 1800. One question I have is the air pressure for this tire? Well put pix on after I get it home.

Re: JUST BOUGHT MY DARKSIDE TIRE
I would start at 30 psi., and then try bringing it up and down to see what you prefer. Without exceeding pressure limit listed on tire. The tire was not made to use on a mc, so to me the best way is to adjust pressure until you find what works best for your situation. I started at 40 and came down 5 lbs. at a time. The handling and ride kept getting better until at 20 it got a little squirmy cornering, so back up to 25 and it's fine for solo riding with my 200 lbs. The 215/65 has much air volume also, which requires less pressure. The Darkside to me is all about experimenting, Have Fun!

WOW. That's low IMO. I started at 38, and went UP. I suppose it'd ride like it's on a marshmellow suspension at 20...

Re: JUST BOUGHT MY DARKSIDE TIRE
With all the nasty roads in my area, I need all the suspension I can get. Now that the hot weather is here, my cold pressure is 25. Anything above that, doesn't handle the bumps in the curves well. If you consider I've run the same size as my sig. tire, on my 4k lb plus Acura RL at 20 psi. in the rear, for years now, with slow even wear, great handling, ride, and no problems, it should give a better perspective. I've always had good results running tire pressures as low as the situation safely permits. Most rec. pressures are high for liability purposes. I won't tell you how low I ran my rigid frame rear tube tires. That was a serious "Ride On The Wild Side".
