Re: My Darkside tire
Boy talk about a tight fit. Looks good. I like it. How does it ride? How about a write up on how it went on and performance.
Thanks and nice bike

My Darkside tire
Kenny, I also have the Kuriakin flame pass. boards, and a custom speedometer face. I am a Firefighter so it is a requirement .
Horseman8m, I was worried it was going to rub more but I think it rubbed itself some clearance. It is a 2005 Kawasaki VN2000. Thanks.
Badmoon, Well when I first got the tire on I was a little nervous because it took a lot more oomph to make the bike turn. The shop that installed it said it was not that hard to do even though it was the first time he ever did that. After about 200 miles and a couple days I am getting used to the tire and I am taking turns with a bit more confidence.I got caught in the rain the other day and the bike stuck to the road really well. I think the ride is even smoother than the Metzler I had on before. I haven't tried it 2 up yet but I am sure it will be no problem. I am currently riding with 40 pounds of pressure in it and I think it feels ok. I am kinda big at 270 lbs. so maybe I need that much air in it.
