Another new project
For those who don't know, I do a bit of custom paint and such, and now that we have the new house and my new shop I can now get back to doing mroe of it. When starting a project I always do a sketch on the computer to get the general idea of what's being done, then print it out as a guideline to look at while I'm working on the bike/car/truck or whatever.
Anyway, my latest project is for my best friend. He is also the president of my chapter of CMA and an all around good guy (cept for that HD underneath him) His last Tatoo was a dove rising from the flames. He wants me to do something on his HD and so I've come up with this idea. The main blue is Viper Blue (have a can laying around) and then trimmed in some candy blues to darken some parts and shaded with a mettalic silver.
Here's my rough draft, whatya think?

I'll probably get back into using brushes, but I've been away from them for a while now. Most of the stuff I've done in the last few years didn't really need striping, so I'm rusty. One shot is what I use when I strip though, that and excaliber brushes.

That is a really nice design. Good work! I like it as a tattoo as well. I'm starting to get ahead of my self on tattoos though. I have one being designed now and have 3 more ideas that I'd like to do. My doctors won't let me get one until they give me the all clear. So, I must be patient. I'm thinking your design would make a great arm or wrist band.

That's if you can call what we do singing.... we were ushers at the time and we had to leave the service and go out the back doors, we laughed so hard and we couldn't stop!
