First crap mod..making a GPS fit

Ok...wonder if this qualifies as a crap mod

Got a Magellan Maestro 3210 for Christmas...well none of the Ram mount folks make a mount for it yet and I don't want to order stuff that may not work.

So i played with the factory Magellan car mount and my current Ram mount for my camera.

Here's all the pieces.



As you can see the RAM mount camera base has a few holes in it.

So I took the swivel mount off the Magellan car mount.


This is what it looks like from the factory.


Flip the swivel piece around like this.


Mount it through one of the holes in the RAM mount camera base, like this


Now, I've got a cheap and easy GPS mount for my bike. Works great too and it's free.



So Biddy...does this qualify me some?

Well as proud member #39 , in my semi professional opinion looks like crap to me, good job.

Meant to post pics of it on the bike




And to top off a great cheap find I found out that the new 205/65/16 put the speedo just about dead on. 30-70 it's only about a mile an hour faster than the GPS. I'll be testing that more later.
