just bought this bike this summer. 83 Yamaha Venture Royal 1200 and will need a new tire for next year. I was wondering about putting a car tire on it? Has any one put one on this or a similar bike. How do you check too see what size of tire to put on. or does some know a size to put on and what kind (bf Goodrich or some thing else)

http://darkside.nwff.info/?p=installersList   check this sight has tire size calculator,v rated tires are the best bet,i found the goodyear tt has best sidewall thats what i got on my v star 1300 Smile
