Rear tire for front of VTX1800C ?
Hello All, I know the answer is in this forum somewhere, but I can't find it, ( slightly computer illiterate!). If my memory serves me... I think I saw a 150/70-18 with 2 oz. of Dyna beads was recommended for the front? Also, do I want /need a radial on the front as well? I have the Goodyear triple tread on the rear and LOVE it! Any and all help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! jevers

I'm running the Michelin Pilot Active one size larger than stock- without looking I believe it is a 130/80/18. Had to slightly cup and realign the fender to get it to fit. Best front (rear MC tire) I've ever had.

I also run a goodyear triple tread on the rear and a michlin active pilot 130/80/18 on front of my 2002 vtx1800c. I also had to slightly reshape the front fender by hand, squeezing it to curve it more. no other modifications needed, I love these tires. The rear tire on the front is not noticeable from other front tires until you read the side of the tire. I currently have 15000 on rear car tire, it still looks very good.
