I have an 06 1800R and I put a Yokohoma 205/60r-16 on it with no problems at all. There is at least 1/4" of space between the tire and the drive shaft cover, looks good and rides great.

thanks I appreciate the info and am still a little on the fence but really starting to lean to the dark side for two simple reasons 1, price 2,mileage . It will be a couple of weeks but it will be done besides I really miss my ride

Just make sure to use the proper lube for the splines. I didn't get the Honda Molly paste, I bought a small container of Molly paste from MSC, it's over 60% Molly. Riding darkside has been great. It's a little different, start out slow and work your way up to riding "normal", to let the tire break in and you get used to it, then have fun. After a while you forget that you have a car tire on there.

The one thing I can tell you is that a bought a motorcycle jack from harbor frieght tools and absolutly love it . I paid 79 bucks on sale and its worth every penny. Once again thank you all

The "key" to darksiding is to run the car tire low pressure - between 30 and 34 psi. Any harder and you'll be riding on the "center" of the tread and the tire won't flex enough and will want to run in the cracks on the road.
