Here's the plan:
I have the 2003 1300S, currently with 1300C rear with a MT.
I have an empty 1300C rim I want to set up a CT on. I know that should be a direct swap, as I've had one on before.

I am getting an 1800C rim. I want to set up up with the fattest CT that I can without frame or swingarm modifications and as few other mods as possible.I've just started riding two up with my wife, and we are both larger people, so I have to expect higher weight capacity than most, so please keep this in mind. I have 11.5" Progressive 440HDs on the bike already, as well as the PS springs.

Now, many of you are going...WTF? Well, some of you know me. I like to change things up, from the pipes (stock, Bigshots, Furys, and a set of headers to put slip-ons or make a custom set to), to intakes (12 lighting options, over 60 grills, and three colors of mesh filters), to wheels (not three sets). I figure the more versatile the ride, the longer I'll keep it.

Also, I highly recommend a Speedohealer for you people like me. With the GPS, after a short ride, I can have my speedo reading set correct in 5 minutes.

Welcome
Hey Sean, good to see you here.
I'd recomend a Goodyear TripleTred 205/60/16 for you. Lots of guys use it.
It has a 91H service description which is 1356lbs at 130mph, it's more than what you need. thumbup

Thanks on the tire info, I assume that was for the 1800c. What about on the 1300c? Not worried about it being fat as much as it being reliable and weight capable.

On a second note, and this is not really darkside related, but for the 1300 rims, I have the full wheel setup (bearings, dampers, rotor). The 1800 rim is the rim only. Will any of the 1300 parts fit? What's the simplest mod to get the 1800? I heard the 1300S rotors would bolt up, but will I still have to buy 1800 dampers? Anyone know a good trike conversion source?

Sean

For a 1300C, I'd suggest a 205/70/15.
Goodyear doesn't make a 205/70/15 in the TripleTred.
I have used a Michelin HydroEdge and a General Grabber UHP in 205/70/15, both great tires,
but I think the HydroEdge is hard to find right now.

I think the easiest way is to use a modified 1300 rotor on the 1800 wheel, so that the brakes all fit.
Contact Hick, I think he still has some rotors. Don't know about the dampers, but Steve will.

Sean Doc was correct the 1800c would be the 205/60/16. The 1300 has a 15 inch and the 1800s I have also has the 15 inch rim the 1800 C has a 16. I have the GYTT 205/65-15 and the Spyker mod on my bike thanks!
