1300S with 205/65/15 and a tube
I'm a newbie, this is my 1st time posting on your site, been lurking for a while, and I have questions. To explain my situation, I live in Pattaya, Thailand, I own a 2003 1800S in the U.S., which I come home every June and ride for one month. I put on 3-4000 miles, and have just added a Harbor Freight project trailer. My current tire lasted 7000 miles, and has maybe 2000 miles left on it. Not enough for another 4000 mile trip next year.
My question is: Has anyone figured out how to get a 205/65/15 to mount yet on a spoked wheel? I read a post from May 2008 about this bead mounting problem, but don't see any new info. I don't have the time to mess with sealing the spokes up and all that, I need to use a tube. I have my riding buddy get whatever I need, fly in, get the bike ready, and we go touring/camping for most of the month, and I fly out again.
This is a great board, you guys are doin a fantastic job,
Thanks...
Stogie

Good answer papa........................ Remember mounting a tire is a very dangerous just by itself...any tire! So take all safety precautions!
