I've got a few farkles I need right away. Like some wind wings, as hot as it is here the Wing Fairing just blocks too much air.
I'm looking at the new Michelin Alpin, but I need to do some more research on Run Flats vs. Non Run Flats.

Traded the VTX in after stripping her. I'm gonna have some stuff up for sale soon.

Wow Doc ... that is a beauty!!!! Congratulations!!! You will LOVE IT!!!! I rode mine to the daughter's and back this past weekend ... about a 410 mile round trip .... I came home in the rain but the Wing was solid as a rock.

I guess they must have been out of yeller ... huh?

well get out there and burn the rear tire off was told that the 2012 leave nice hole shots form the line. Enjoy the ride and be safe remember with new bike alot of people are look at what is that and not the rode.

Sat on one tonight at our club meeting and shook it around a bit - a little top heavy compared to mine, but I was surprised
to find it so light. He told me it weighs 750, same as mine. Valkrie? Something like that.

Not sure about the 2012's but my 2010 weighs in at 903 #'s. I think the weight is more towards the bottom with the flat 6 ... the balance and control for a 900 pound bike is outstanding ... IMHO.

2012's are 903 to 933 lbs depending upon what option level package is installed.
Valkries shared basically the same 1500cc engine with the 88 to 00 Goldwings.

Congrats Doc!!! That is an awesome wing. Do some research before buying 'windwings'. Some guys say certain ones actually make the ride hotter. I think it was the Butler products. Anyway the bike looks great except those ugly black side side engine covers imho.

The more I see the 12 wings the more I like em. I was at a honda shop the otehr day and they had they 12 stashed behind 2 older models and against a support collumn. Almost like they were embarassed by it. I am really digging it though. But it will be a while before I wear this one out. Who knows where the wings will be by then.
