Once my CT presure is dialed in and the tire broken in, can just anybody (experianced rider) ride the bike without having to get used to it? Im thinking that most of it (car tire thing)is just letting your brain reprogram itself to the car tire. If thats the case, and someone wants to ride your bike do you let them know it handles different, so be carefull! or since its broken in and pressure is right dont worry about it? On occation my brother rides my bike when hes visiting me.

I guess what Im asking is once its broken in can anybody that rides get on and ride without having to get used to it, or do they need to ride it 200-300 miles? Shrug

If you dont tell them will they notice?
If you dont tell them and something happens, would it be your fault?

Personally I would let them ride behind me to show them how it handles. Them let them try it. That would eliminate their fears or concerns before they rode it.
Either way, let us know what you decided and the results.

I don't let anyone but ME ride or work on my scoot, but if I did, I would NEVER let someone ride it without mentioning the issue of off-angled ridges, going thru gutters at an angle and such. Countersteer wouldn't be an issue, because it's just like riding a different bike anyway.
I'd tell them to expect weird feelings hitting angles and not to worry about it; the bike's not going anywhere. (except in the case of trying to get into your driveway from the mailbox. DANG!)

Any rider worth his salt will always know that ALL bikes handle different even between the same bike because of set up!! Secondly....not just anyone rides my bike! JMO So, I would always warn them of things on my bike...car tire or not!

Exactly, but ESPECIALLY the ridge tracking thing; it would be a problem or at least a nasty surprise to even a veteran rider.
Sure freaked me out at first! I don't even care any more, but definitely still notice it, unlike the steering that disappeared.

Once my pressure is dialed in Empty air pressure

It seems as if 32 works good, and Im getting used to the different feel. I had a hard time at my mailbox, the curb had a gutter in it, parked at an angle, when I tried to take off it feel to my left. Had to roll it back up on the sidestand! Wont park that way there any more! All in all its way better than when I took my first ride. When I started I had it up to 40psi and turned around 2 blocks from my house to see what was wrong. I had a wobble from hell, but when I droped down 4lbs, test rode, droped down 4 more, It was alright. Now Im just getting used to it, feels pretty good so far! Will know for sure in a few days I would imagine.
