Hey guys,
Put my Mich HE on my 1800 R a couple weeks ago. I started with 42 lbs cold. The tire was just not corning well. When I rolled over the edge the difference was pronounced. Lowered the pressure to 35 lbs, the tire worked lots better. Lowered again to 32 and it feels great.
Understand I have about 6000 miles on my Wing with a C/T. So I know how they feel. scratch The question I have is how does everybody run 40 plus lbs. Will running the lower pressure cause problems or be unsafe? I have a Dunlop 3-D run flat on my Wing and run it at about 30 lbs. Any ideas? ic

looks like most people run 37 to 50 depending on the tire... you should be fine around 35 as well since a lot of car manufacturers have that or close as a recommended pressure you shouldn't be hurting anything... these tires are designed for a lot more weight than the bike is putting on them! I think most people don't run lower pressures because like mine did, it feels kinda squishy...
