HOW MANY MILES LEFT ON THIS TIRE ??

Can't wait for my new car tire to arrive (hopefully this week)
I think I need one reallllllll bad. Bye bye expensive low mileage Metzler !
Hope I'll be able to make it to the car tire installer an hour away with this tire lol.
Think I'll bring my cell phone with me......just in case !

How many miles did you get out of that tire and what pressure do you run?

About 12,000 miles, @ 40psi religiously...so I can't really complain for a bike tire. Hopefully I'll get better longevity out of my new Hankook H426.....time will tell I guess.

12,000 is pretty good, my original Dunflop looked like that after 7000...

CAN ALMOST SEE THE AIR IN THE TIRE....MIGHT FIND A TRAILER OR TAKE WHEEL OFF AND LEAVE BIKE AT HOME...........IF NOT A OPTION PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL..........ESKIMO

Thanks for your concerns guys, but I'll be ok. I'll take it nice and slow to the garage, and take the country roads to get there. I'll have a buddy escorting me, just in case my tire does blow, and I need a flat bed to pick up the bike. If I don't ride it until the new tire comes in, I should be ok....if I take it easy. It's amazing from one day to the next how a tire can change looks. I'll be paying closer attention on a daily bases from now on.

You would be surprised as to how many milesyou can get out of that tire. Road debris is your enemy though. Enjoy thenew shoes, and as for looking at it on a daily basis ....... hahahahahhaa wont happen. Once you get over the car tire mental thing you will forget it is back there.

Thanks Smokey, hope you're right. Received a call earlier today, that my car tire has arrived, so I'm picking it up tomorrow. Then I'll try and have it installed by Thursday or Friday. So looks like I'll have my first DS experience this weekend (or before)
