Like my Kaw Concours, the original Voyager is top heavy and requires a bit of brute force in parking lot type speeds. I find that the car tire on my Connie is noticeable at walking speeds, it takes a little more effort to start a turn and you can feel a slight difference than in a bike tire.

However, above that, especially above 15 MPH, or somewhere in that range, the differences disappear and it as solid as any bike tire. I especially find the extra traction on wet pavement, especially when powering away from a stop signal and turning, very nice in traffic situations. The Voyager would also improve a bit from this extra traction.

Damn, I sure hated to see Kaw stop making that model, I'd have purchased a Voyager, instead of a Concours, back in 05.

Still, sure wish they'd have made that style Voyager in 05. I even looked around for a good buy on something older and found nothing, so I bought the Concours instead. Both the original Voyager and the original Concours are better all around bikes than then newer versions, IMHO.
