mounting a ct on a spoke wheel
Im new to the forum, but have tried to go to a ct before.I have an 03 vtx 1800s and havent had any luck mounting a ct to it.Worked on it all day one day got it on the rim but never could get the bead to seat, had it up to 100psi a few times and used everything I could think of to lube up the rim and still no luckI am open to any suggestions within reason

put a ratchet strap around the center of the tire (tight) before adding air then when air is applied it will evert more pressure too the sidewalls of the tire rather than just making the tire taller.

What tire were you trying to mount? If you were trying the 60 series I would try going to a 65 series. The higher the series the narrower the bead width on the tire, which means an easier mount.
