New guy, needs info please !!!!!!!

I was sent here from the sidecar forum. I jus bought a 2004 Goldwing with a Hannigan GTL sidecar. I want to put car tires on the bike and am really wanting to put run-flat type on it. Will this work, what tires do you guys recomend, miles of use expected and lastly, any adverse side effects or downside?

If you have a tire monitoring system a run flat could work, but I will in no way advise anyone to run a run flat. They can go flat without you knowing it. Then you keep going until they get so hot they just explode beneath you. No thanks.

No monitering system, never heard of one. So, what NON run-flat should I buy?

195/55/16 seems to be a popular size. You could check out the goldwing section and find others I'm sure. Probably a good place to find a good brand also. I run a 1300 R myself.
