No, it was a 24 waist and I only weighed 110 lbs when this pic was taken. I graduated weighing 120 lbs. Can you believe it.........I don't and I was there.

I was 177 when I graduated. I was 177 when I got back from boot camp, the major difference was that I could see my toes.

Either yall were too skinny or I was too fat. I guess there was a reason I played on the O line.

And that's why I raced motorcycles...size didn't matter.... Plus racing is MORE fun! Dirt, smoke, sound, and speed....awesome combinations. Plus if any of you guys are old enough...nothing smells like Klotz two smoke oil being burnt in a racing engine.

I dont know exactly what that smells like, but I do remember the smell from that Suzuki RM 125. It had a certain sweetness to it, and I loved the high pitched screams it made.twin1300 wrote:Muntz wrote:Either yall were too skinny or I was too fat. I guess there was a reason I played on the O line.

Yeah man I do remember the Klot oil. I used to run it in my YZ's. It got pretty heard to find and then we started using the PJ1 oils. That PJ1 oil had a cool smell too. You definately could tell who was burning those oils. Those were the days. Young, dumb and bulletproof. (edited)... Before I was 13 I had completely wore out 2 YZ 100's and one 125. Then I moved up to a CR 250 at 14. That bike was insane. First trip out It came home missing a rear finder and bent bars. The nice thing about those bikes was you could just replace the plastics and go on. My First YZ had metal finders and was heavy. Wish I still had those bikes today.
Ah, the memories.
