Front Rim for a 2002 VT1100c (Shadow Spirit)

Hey guys,

Can anyone tell me what I need to be looking for in regards to replacing my Front Rim? MY current rim is split down the middle and I'm trying to find a salvage part rather than going brand new. I know that multiple year models can work with my bike, but I'm not sure what I need to be looking for. I don't want to order the wrong rim.

Okay... a little research has told me I am looking for a 110/90x19 size rim. Anyone know of a good motorcycle salvage yard I can contact?

EDIT: Okay, it seems that number I gave above is the tire size and not necessarily the Rim/wheel size....

I think theres one in Austin or San Antonio but I dont know the name. Good place to check would be a local motorcycle trader mag. There are alway places selling rebuildable bikes in them. Good luck

pretty much any VT1100 front rim will fit. Our bikes haven't changed much since they first designed them.

Okay, I found a front rim for a 1998 VT1100c. Are you sure it will fit my 2002? I just want to make sure before I buy it... it's on eBay.

EDIT: My Rim is J19 x MT2.15

Disregard. I looked closer at the photos on the auction and it turns out the wheel is identical to my current one. Sweet.
