That does suck...I saw diabetes take both my grand-mother's legs and was getting her eyes when she could'nt fight it anymore....I feel for you bro...Best wishes and if I can give any advice whatsoever it's buy the best footwear your pocket will allow.

Not sure how that whole Diab. thing works. I do know that it is not good. I have a neighbor that was on the shots for ever and I saw his health swing from up and down. He is now on the pump for almost a year now and he is, or appears to be healthy and happy.

That sucks and this is a person that does not eat fruit or veggies. I eat the critters that eat fruit and veggies.

The key to living with and managing your diabetes is control and knowledge. You can live a normal and healthy life with some really pretty basic guidelines. I have seen diabetes treatment progress greatly and life expectancy increase in the last 40 years. BUT you must be responsible for doing the right things for yourself, and following your doctors directions. Keep good records of your testing results, and dont blow off the testing. Its important. Do you smoke? -then quit. Do you drink ? - then quit. Do you eat a good balanced diet ? If not, then start. Do you get any excercise ? if not then get on a program. I have customers and friends who have been diabetic for years, and live a healthy and normal life because they follow the program. Plus, see someone who specializes in diabetes treatment and stay with them.
