headlight mounting bracket
does anyone know if there is a headlight bracket setup that does'nt have to use the bottom triple tree ? i want to go with a modern day bullet style headlight.i will change the triple tree if i have to but if there is an easier way,please someone let me know.thanks for any help and best regards.

A cobra 2 is a good light. It mounts on the tree. Fab a mount so you don't drill the lower tree

i found a place on ebay that has custom billet aluminum mounts for all bikes.for me i will be mounting 1 bar between the ears and installing a bullet headlight from the bottom of it.oh yea,cant wait.

here you go.the aluminum bar you see thats holding my headlight is the one.that half moon piece thats gettin ready to be chromed is fabbed to hide the gauge wires and such.of course on the later models.he makes very nice different brackets to mount with your existing bolts where the headlight sits plus will hide the bolts as well for a real clean look.the guy is on ebay and goes by the name of; vtxneo.great quality and great guy.without his mount,i would have had to spend quite a bit of money going with a different triple tree to be able to mount the light of my choice.regards. kenny
